Background

The Araceae family contains the flowering shingling plant Pothos pugnax. As a new species in the Allopothos supergroup under the Pothos barberianus group, a special climber was described and shown. In Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo, ridgetop kerangas were used to observe a living specimen. This plant was said to live in a hot, humid, and nutrient-poor forest environment. Highlight the leather and rigged leaf surface with pronounced elevated venation texture. It has transparent leaves that range in hue from green to copper and range in shape from elliptic to circular. Perfect complement to shingling the terrarium enclosure's background.

Water

Water well on dry/summer every 5 days, please wait until top 3inches soil are dry. Once the watering habit are established for maximum grows, this plant can thrive for very long time. Wait for longer gap between watering in winter as most of the wild specimen has it's habit on defending its life by dormancy. Make sure your plant medium get fairly dry.

Requires well balanced acidity soil (6.5 to 7 pH) with well drained substrate that rich in organic matters

Balance nutrients is needed, macro and micro nutrients for easy growing experience.
