Background

The climbing perennial species Rhaphidophora puberula belongs to the Araceae family. It can be found in Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatera, Nusa Tenggara, and other natural habitats. When young, it develops a few short hairs on the lower surface of its leaf lamina, and when grown, it mostly lacks perforation. When young, the leaf is oblong-elliptic; when mature, it is slightly rounder and can reach a length of 34 cm. Usually found in primary to secondary lowland in dipterocarp forest at elevations between 15 and 1.200 m asl, where it lives on trees and rocks. It can be challenging to tell it apart from R. When foraminifera are mature, they can only be identified by the absence of black mucilage on the tips of their active shoots. This selected specimen coming with pure white to pale yellow variegation occurs almost on every leaf. A must have addition to your aroid jungle plant collection.
