Background

You must have been wondering, "what is that hairy plants, climbing the wall of the plant nursery near me?" Yes, it's a Ficus villosa.
Most of the Ficus known to be grows as big tree, covering the tall trees accompany the other emergent layers of the rainforest trees. But this hairy fig are not like many other figs. Juvenile plants mostly lay prone upwards, start to climb forming longer leaf blade with cordate base. Leaves color are most likely change to brighter green. All parts of the plant showing its long and soft hair. Leaf upper are hairy corrugated with sunken veins. The fruits are bright orange with short soft hair around it. This plant features how exotic and wild the rainforest jungle of South-East Asia.
