Background

Dischidia is a flowering plant genus that is closely related to Hoya. There was no clear description of a specific study on Dischidia imbricata. This genus' original notes on Javan plants need to be thoroughly revised. There has been no specific study to date that has resolved the differentiation of its acceptable name Dischidia imbricate (Blume) Steud. It has been shifting back and forth due to its highly variable generative characteristic. We believe it's reniform with yellow corolla in most occurrences available on our observation and some matched evidently. Borneo, Jawa, Malaya, Myanmar, Sumatera, Thailand, and Vietnam are all home to this species. Dischidia imbricate is difficult to distinguish from its closely related Laos endemic, Dischidia cornuta. Both leaves can be very similar, 'Kidney' like shape.

Water

Water well on dry/summer every 5 days, please wait until top 3inches soil are dry. Once the watering habit are established for maximum grows, this plant can thrive for very long time. Wait for longer gap between watering in winter as most of the wild specimen has it's habit on defending its life by dormancy. Make sure your plant medium get fairly dry.
