Background

Homalomena is one of the native genera found in Asia. Most of the blades of this unknown Homalomena species have relentless variegation. With pink to bright white to pale yellow, splashing motives, and occasionally a block of white, as depicted in the image. Our chosen example has a pink to scarlet petiole with a distinctive cordate leaf. It is a robbust specimen that grows on the ground. It is suitable for your houseplant collection or for use in a tropical garden.

Water

Water well on dry/summer every 5 days, please wait until top 3inches soil are dry. Once the watering habit are established for maximum grows, this plant can thrive for very long time. Wait for longer gap between watering in winter as most of the wild specimen has it's habit on defending its life by dormancy. Make sure your plant medium get fairly dry.
