Background

The ivy peperomia, Peperomia griseoargentea, is a flowering plant in the Piperaceae family native to Brazil. These evergreen and occasionally succulent houseplants can be rosette-forming or erect with trailing stems. Although peperomia produces greenish-white, panicle-like flower spikes, it is primarily grown for its foliage. These plants can be grown outside as a ground cover in warm, subtropical, or tropical climates. They require bright indirect light indoors but can tolerate low light.
