Some of us must have been wondering, "how to grow outdoor plant as an _indoor plant_ ?" And if you try to type it down the google search engine, most likely the answer always contains _money tree_ . However, if you're interested in a collection that can grow big and well either indoors or outdoors, we're going to introduce you to a rare specimen right away. It's Syzygium verstegii aff.

Coming from the largest genera in family Myrtaceae with close to 1200 species, there are 4 species we've found interestingly similar on the leaf blade. The closely related S. jiewhoei sp. nov. Hambali Sunarti Low and S. recurvovenosum Lauterbach, the oldest S. verstegii aff and the New Caledonia endemic S. acre. With closely similar features on leaf shape and structures, S. verstegii aff. grow the thickest amongst the other. Vein structure mainly sunken with dove leaf surface raising. Leaf grows at the end of the branch forming canopy up to 15m tall or even more on it's natural habitat. What interesting for you here is the juvenile leaves color purple and the symmetrical structure of its secondary veins are sunken. Don't ask about it's leaf size, look at the seed grown we have, it's gnarly! A definitely exotic on your favourite list!

Water

Water well on dry/summer every 5 days, please wait until top 3inches soil are dry. Once the watering habit are established for maximum grows, this plant can thrive for very long time. Wait for longer gap between watering in winter as most of the wild specimen has it's habit on defending its life by dormancy. Make sure your plant medium get fairly dry.

Requires well balanced acidity soil (6.5 to 7 pH) with well drained substrate that rich in organic matters

Balance nutrients is needed, macro and micro nutrients for easy growing experience.
