Background

Rhaphidophora korthalsii is species of climbing shingling plant in the Araceae family. A trully magnificent climber that grows falcate juvenile leaf with vibrant bright yellow to deeply white variegated feature. Sumetera, Java, Sulawesi, and Maluku (Batjam Island and Seram Island). A perennial climber on the dipterocarp forest on primary or disturbed area, on both lower and upper hill forest ranging from 10 to 1.700m asl. Mostly on stony hills and occassionally on freshwater swamp area in the rainforest. A superb addition to your houseplant collection.

Requires 50% up to 80% room humidity, temperate climate between 68°F to 77°F is needed for better grows

Water

Water well on dry/summer every 5 days, please wait until top 3inches soil are dry. Once the watering habit are established for maximum grows, this plant can thrive for very long time. Wait for longer gap between watering in winter as most of the wild specimen has it's habit on defending its life by dormancy. Make sure your plant medium get fairly dry.

Soil

Requires well balanced acidity soil (6.5 to 7 pH) with well drained substrate that rich in organic matters
