Background

Streblosa is accepted genera composed by 25 species. First published in 1851 as a genera of an flowering plants group in coffee family, then studied and identified as an accepted species by Elmer Drew Merrill on a 1937 publication. Approved sample on the specimen herbarium were taken by Hans Winkler a German Botanist around 1925 at Nanga Era, West Borneo parts of Indonesia.

The species name were taken by the strong it's blistered surface character shown on it's leaf blade. In one of Jay Vannini's article believed pebbled character is an adapting effort to the sunlight and the water for better survival chances on the rainforest. This exotic plants are a photoautotroph plant, an ability utilizing energy from light to useful matters for plant cell regeneration. It can be a great addition to your terrariums.

Water

Water well on dry/summer every 5 days, please wait until top 3inches soil are dry. Once the watering habit are established for maximum grows, this plant can thrive for very long time. Wait for longer gap between watering in winter as most of the wild specimen has it's habit on defending its life by dormancy. Make sure your plant medium get fairly dry.

Requires well balanced acidity soil (6.5 to 7 pH) with well drained substrate that rich in organic matters
