Background

Philodenron is a flowering plant genus in the Araceae family. There is very little scientific information available about this plant because its origin has never been proven. It is said to be a natural hybrid that original hybridizer isn't yet to be known. It has rounded lovely lobes with sagitate or triangular like leaves. It would make an excellent addition to your climbing or trailing house plant collection. A fantastic combination of its robust parentage resembles both P. billitiae leaf blade and P. atabapoense dark colors variation.

Water

Water well on dry/summer every 5 days, please wait until top 3inches soil are dry. Once the watering habit are established for maximum grows, this plant can thrive for very long time. Wait for longer gap between watering in winter as most of the wild specimen has it's habit on defending its life by dormancy. Make sure your plant medium get fairly dry.

Requires well balanced acidity soil (6.5 to 7 pH) with well drained substrate that rich in organic matters
