Background

Schismatoglottis motleyana is a flowering herbaceous plant in the Araceae family. There has been a lot of confusion in the market about its latin name and morphology because the numerous Schismatoglottis spp. has not yet been determined and its science has been constantly evolving. This species has a variety of leaf motives with silver variegation. It can be found covering a large area of the humus-rich jungle loamy floor. It has an enlivening appearance when used as ground cover in the garden as part of a group of landscape plants.
